Re: How do i make my 4 year old a genius?first of all, you don't MAKE you child become a genius, he does that on his own but studying in and out of school.
how ever, take some time(not all of it) of the things you enjoy and find out what he likes and take the time to spend with him that way. no one can make you a better parent but you. just focus on him more.
Re: How do i make my 4 year old a genius?"a child [should] be able to get dirty have fun and be them selves."
And so should an adult, those things arent reserved for kids, all anyone is trying to tell you is don't baby your child with unfruitful love and admiration constantly. Push him but allow to have fun as well, kids are fully capable, they learn fast and are super-intuitive so don't underestimate what he can handle, just see what he can handle and scale according to his needs. Also realize that as messed up as it may be later, kids think what adults consider work is a lot of fun, so don't let your judgements and assumptions stop him from having that fun. I was laughing when my niece loved picking up my room because we both benefited. She still enjoys cleaning up a bit so its lasted years now. When I have kids one thing I want to encourage them to do is question everything. I think allowing them to investigate how and why will build important critical thinking skills, that and keep them doing creative things since school can be pretty left-minded so to speak. Re: How do i make my 4 year old a genius? To make your son into a genius you have to do nothing. He already is a genius.
Your job is to makes sure he never second guesses himself, by providing every kind of support. You must allow him to learn for himself. Do not force thoughts or ideas towards him. If you let him grow up knowing your love for him is pure, unconditional and never swaying he will reach great heights. Do not try and mold him, he is perfect already. If he does make mistakes then all you should worry about is teaching him that he was wrong. Never scold or punish him, ever. He is already pure and intends no harm to anyone. The evilness in children is learned from this world, not the world he comes from. Where he comes from there is only peace and good intentions. You must tell him that, but he will already know. Kids these days have more energy than ever before. That's a known fact. You must ensure that he has outlets to release this energy. If he makes a bad mistake then make sure he understands why it was a bad mistake. Maybe a time out is good, because it is similar to meditation.
